Board transformation; strategic planning
RPSV serves those who have mental health and substance abuse issues, and those in the community who are homeless and/or somehow displaced. It is run by mental health consumers, and totally understands the needs of its clients. RPSV also supports other consumer run mental health and addiction recovery programs overcome organizational challenges and encourages program independence and growth.
Since 2015, Richard has provided guidance on the renewal of RPSV's board, which has increased its number from 1 to 9, elected officers and amended its bylaws since the assignment began; helped with strategic planning; and advised on capacity building in response to funder requests. Throughout, he has coached RPSV's leadership.
